Reno SCCA Track Event & Time Trial #2

Drive Your car on a Race Track  Saturday June 20, 2020 at Thunderhill Raceway Park

All participants will get four 20 minute track sessions

Track Event (TE) is non-timed lapping in your car, with an emphasis on learning. Instruction will be in-classroom and by an observer outside  . No previous experience required except a valid drivers license. Most street legal automobiles and some classes of race prepared cars are allowed. Open top automobiles must have removable factory hardtop installed, factory rollover protection or an SCCA Time Trials approved rollbar. See Track Event Rules and Reno SCCA Supps for details

Time Trials is a TIME ATTACK competition for fastest lap, open to almost all street-licensed cars. Driver requirement is a valid drivers license and a little bit of track experience.  A TT license is also required, but is available from SCCA for no charge.  Cars prepared to Solo Street Prepared or Street Mod and all full race prepared open or closed wheel cars are acceptable.

Convertibles must have factory rollover protection or an SCCA Time Trials approved roll bar. Race Prepared Cars running in a GCR Race class must meet all requirements of their respective class including cage, window nets or arm restraints, fire suppression system and driver safety gear including fire suit, gloves, socks and driver restraint system. Head and neck restraint are highly recommended but not required. See Time Trials Rules and Reno SCCA Supps for driver illegibility requirements.

Regular Entry Fees: Track Event (TE) / Time Attack (TA), $225 Regular Registration.

For those who just can't get enough track time we offer a Dual Entry. For an additional $75 you can run the same car and driver in both Time Attack groups (TT 1 & TT 2). That's a mind boggling 2 hours and 40 minutes of track time for just $300
